Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCANS! This is an ORIGINAL and COLORFUL and NEVER USED 1955 STORE ADVERTISING POSTER from SAVAGE ARMS! This measures 24 inches X 9 inches. This poster is for the SAVAGE MODEL 775-SC AUTOMATIC SHOTGUNS with SAVAGE SUPER-CHOKE, perfect for new 2 3/4 magnum shells... This was sent by Savage Arms to a store here in Oregon in 1955. Eight posters are in this group and I am selling them all separately on Ebay now. They were in a tube for 65 years! I acquired these last year and lamentably I can't seem to find that tube, which had the postmark on it. My memory and my research point to 1955 as the exact year, but since I am not absolutely positive I will say circa 1955. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONE FLAW ON THIS IS A LOWER RIGHT CORNER CREASE. This is truly a RARE GEM. Please take note: UNLESS YOU REQUEST THAT I SEND THIS FLAT, I WILL SEND THIS IN A TUBE. I know that the old metal advertising signs are deservedly sought after. Paper is my thing. The term ephemera springs from the notion that paper is ephemeral. It is easily damaged and dissolved by time. That is why store displays like these are so exceedingly rare.
