Welcome to our listing. Offered today for your consideration is: a beautiful large Crown valued nominally at 25 pence from the 1977 Silver Jubilee (25th year or reign) of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen went on the celebrate many other Jubilees in her long reign, the most recent being the
Platinum
Jubilee of 2022.
This NGC Certified coin is a very large Copper-Nickel coin with Queen Elizabeth II on horseback on the Obverse and an eagle above a spoon on the reverse. The coin is 28.28g (.91 oz) and 38 mm in diameter. Many merchants refused to accept the coin as 25 p when it was issued, so a large number have been kept in safe deposit boxes and drawers.
This item comes from a smoke free home and will be carefully packaged to insure it comes to you in the condition we state.
