Offered is an envelope from one of the most beautiful and sought after sporting
advertising envelope series ever produced. It advertises Dominion Ammunition Shot Shells & Metallics for all kinds of shooting. This specific cover with a moose has
t
raditionally always been one of the most difficult in the set to obtain. A number of
these envelopes in unused condition were found at a hotel estate auction in Nova Scotia a few years ago and have made it to the market. They had been tucked away behind a drawer, for a very long time. It is c1910 when EF Walton owned the Imperial Hotel in Kemptville. At the time it catered to mostly guides, hunters, and fishermen.
This envelope measures 6 1/2'' X 3 5/8", and is guaranteed to be original. The image artwork is printed using early 1900's lithography, not current technology digital printing. It is in excellent condition.
