Description

Desktop Military Ammo Display.  Base is natural solid sapele.  No stain or paint but neatly sealed with clear coating to protect this beautiful wood.  There is a neatly applied felt pad on the bottom of the board to prevent marring of the board or the area it is displayed on.  Cartridges consist of the major players in military ammunition. Includes 9mm Luger, 45 Auto (ACP), 5.56mm Nato, 7.62mm and the massive 50 Cal (BMG).  The cartridges are made from actual ammunition and have been cleaned/polished and sealed with purpose made brass sealer to prevent tarnishing.  They have all had the gun powder removed and the primers are either fired/spent or removed entirely.  The identification label securely mounted to the board is a CNC engraved solid brass plate.  The military designation code for the most common type of projectile is also listed on the brass label. The font used is the stencil style used on military ammo boxes/cans.  There is also a metal US Flag emblem and your choice of service branch seals mounted on the display.  Branches available are US Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army.  Be sure to let me know which branch you want.  Pictures are from a standard set. They are all handmade and therefore ever so lightly different from each other.  This is high a quality, hand-constructed display.  It's a handsome display sure to strike up conversations and is just plain COOL!
