For sale is one Brilliant Uncirculated Bi-Metilic 2 pound coin depicting the portraits of Charles Darwin and a chimpanzee.
The £2 Two Pound coin marking the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth focuses on his theory that man descended from apes, featuring a portrait of Darwin in profile along with that of a chimpanzee.
It comes mounted on a cardboard booklet that has the coin specifications along with the history of Charles Darwin. The coin was produced to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth.
The obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty The Queen.
